Is it Friday yet?

I dont know why but this week is dragging on for some reason. Seems like it is taking for ever to get to the weekend. Now dont get me wrong i do enjoy my job and coming to work, but i am ready for a little time off for some reason. Do you hear that? Listen very closely...........................................I think i can hear several cold beers calling my name!

And i think we are supposed to get a cold front moving thru here, i think it is supposed to be down the the 90's this weekend so i may have to put the speedo up and get the coat out.

One of the things i love to do is eat! I know it is hard to tell that looking at my fat ass, but yes i do enjoy some good cooking, and i might add that i am a wonderful cook!
In the last few months i have really got involved in smoking meat. Ok that sounded bad, what i mean is putting meat on a smoker and spending all day cooking it! Now that sounds better.
I bought a small commerical smoker at wally world (wife would not let me get the big one i wanted) and jumped right in with both feet.

Nothing better than sitting outside drinking beer and cooking something good to eat for about 6 hours. The smell of the smoke, and sampling the meat every once in awhile, now that is a good weekend. And it dont hurt that the wife thinks it is too hot outside to stick around and bother me! LOL
