Monday Monday Monday!

Well kids it's monday again, and i am glad to be back at work. We opened a new wing here at work today so i had to be here at 6:00 this morning. Which is no big deal but i drive an hour to work, so that meant i had to get up at
4:15 this morning. I will be dragging later today so i am getting this post over with now while i can still think.

Sorry about no post on friday, but i had to take off to the hospital to see about my dad friday. I was able to meet
my half brother that i have not seen since he was a baby, he is 31 now. He seems to be real nice guy and has a wonderful family. He gives alot to credit to our dad, for the way he was raised with good morals and family values.
So i guess the bad thoughts i had about my dad where unfounded. I know it is not fair to blame him for the way he chose to live. Or i should not judge him for it either. So i will just hope he wakes up so he can explain what he was thinking and why he cut contact with his kids.

Thank you all for the kind and comforting comments about this situation. It did bring about some good things, i was able to talk open and honestly with my girls about my dad, and about the choices we all make in life.
I was able to talk to them about drugs, alcohol and sex. I told them how important family can be, how they should cherish each other and there parents. I explained to them that i love them and care about them and will be happy to answer any questions about life that they might have.

So i had a good weekend, and really enjoyed spending time with my girls and my family. I thank God everyday for those babies and the blessings he gives me!

I have talked to a few people i have met out here in blog land, thru email and messenger and one special person i have talked on the phone with. I just want that person to know that i am thinking about them, and thanks for the wonderful phone calls!
